My wife and I loved walking out to our own beautiful beach. The house exceeded all of our expectations. Clean and large bedroom with a comfortable bed and great view from the balcony. The staff was very attentive and met all our needs. The pool and patio is a great space for entertaining our friends. The location was also very good. Just a short ride to town for shops and restaurants.

La Villa “Portillo by the Sea” es nueva y está ubicada al frente de la playa. Los espacios internos y externos de la casa son amplios, el mobiliario moderno, su decoración sobria. Rita y Paulo, los propietarios, han curado de manera atenta los detalles de su casa, logrando un balance acogedor. El personal de servicio es impecable, muy atentos de cada una de nuestras necesidades durante nuestra estadía. Los vecinos de “Portillo by the Sea” son conocidos nuestros, por ende la cercanía a ellos y su grande amabilidad hicieron que nuestra estadía fuera aún mas agradable. La Villa se encuentra en un sector tranquilo, a una distancia cómoda del pueblo donde pudimos encontrar todo para saciar nuestras necesidades básicas. Las caminatas en la playa fueron completamente tranquilas, y nuestros baños en el mar fantásticos. El agua se encontraba a una temperatura muy agradable. La zona ofrece atractivos turísticos que esta vez no pudimos conocer, pero que nos alientan para volver prontamente. El sonido del mar nos arrullo de manera permanente, el clima cálido y fresco. El desayuno con productos locales, balanceado y generoso, y el café excepcional. A Rita, Paulo y su staff les doy mis mayores agradecimientos por hacer nuestra estadía tan maravillosa. Definitivamente volveremos muy pronto.

I was privileged to inaugurate the new Villas of 'Portillo by the Sea' in the beautiful beach of Portillo, Dominican Republic with a group of friends and their couples. We occupied three of the six villas, which are absolutely stunning and beautiful, where you see the attention to detail present in every part of the houses. The staff of butler, cooks and maids were amazing, and we all felt like royalty. If you want to visit an amazing beach paradise and be pampered to the fullest extent within an amazing compound, I truly recommend visiting them!!!
